Days of our Lives may no longer be on NBC but several cast members are coming back to the network in an upcoming special episode of The Weakest Link. Host Jane Lynch will be trading barbs — all in fun, of course — with some Salem favorites in an episode airing later this year.
Salem Stars At Game Show Odds
The DAYS-themed game show was taped a while back as some of the show’s players are not currently on the soap. Viewers can expect to see the following stars go up against Lynch: Lindsay Arnold (ex-Allie), Bryan Dattilo (Lucas), Galen Gering (Rafe), Tina Huang (Melinda), Victoria Konefal (ex-Ciara), Martha Madison (ex-Belle), Eric Martsolf (Brady), and Zach Tinker (ex-Sonny). These eight actors will be pitted against one another as they use their wits to emerge as the game’s last person standing.
“Catch me and the [DAYS] cast on Weakest Link on [Tuesday,] April 2nd on NBC :),” Tinker posted on Instagram. How does the elimination show work? Watch for the cast members to take turns answering questions involving general knowledge. The more consecutive correct answers accumulated increase the value of the chain. Giving an incorrect answer breaks the chain. That’s when contestants have to start over from the bottom of the money ladder.

DAYS actors will eliminate the fellow competitor they consider to be the “Weakest Link” in the group. Whoever receives the highest number of votes leaves the game. That’s when Lynch will utter the show’s famous line: “You ARE the Weakest Link. Goodbye.”
Lynch brings a slightly caustic edge to her role as host (but probably not as severe) as she did to her character Sue Sylvester on the hit music series Glee.
