Melissa Reeves hasn’t appeared as Jennifer Rose Horton on Days of our Lives for a while now, but that doesn’t mean she and her husband Scott Reeves, who was on DAYS, The Young and the Restless, and General Hospital, aren’t still beloved by fans. Well, they are in for a special treat because there is big news coming out of the Reeves camp.
A Valentine’s Day Surprise
The actress, who also appeared on the soap Santa Barbara early in her career as Jade Perkins, took to her official account to spread the news in her Instagram Story about an exciting new addition to their brood. “A little lady is coming to town in August. I am not sure how my little buddies are going to handle it,” she wrote, along with crying laughing emojis.
Son Larry, who has a wedding photography business, Two and Yonder, with his wife Olivia, wrote on their joint account, “Another little one to L-O-V-E is joining our family this year! 🫶🏼 Swipe to see our gender reveal! 🥰” In it, their two boys look adorable, with the older one holding images from the sonogram. But the next slide has the gender reveal video that Grandma shared in her Instagram story.

The last announcement of a grandbaby from the happy couple came in mid-July of 2022, when Larry and Olivia announced the arrival of their second son. Melissa said at the time, “We have been waiting for you precious buddy💙 Lawrence and Olivia welcomed our 4th grandson yesterday!!!! Abel Theodore Reeves Born July 14, 2022 at 6:45am. 8lbs 13oz. 21 inches long💙. Life is so beautiful 💙🙏🏻”
