Thanks to the Days of Our Lives Winter Preview released late last year, we know that EJ will eventually get shot. And it’s not a shock outcome for him, considering he’s triggering people’s anger left and right. In the Wednesday, February 19 episode, the DiMera’s foes are starting to take action.
Salem’s Public Enemy Number One
EJ (Dan Feuerriegell) has upped his villainy vibe a few levels once again. He has kidnapped Rafe (Galen Gering) and replaced him with Arnold (Galen Gering). And he’s relentless about getting his precious DA job back. He’s lying, backstabbing, and keeping secrets like it’s going out of style. He even knows about Ava (Tamara Braun) and stays silent for Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Rachel’s (Finley Rose Slater) sake. Also, to cover his own butt.
At The Pub, Shawn (Brandon Beemer) gave Jada (Elia Cantu) his super special secret to being successful at darts. Pretend the dartboard is your enemy’s head; throw the dart with precision and make it count. Both Jada and Shawn did just that, and they hit the bullseye.
Meanwhile, Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and JJ (Casey Moss) celebrated Valentine’s Day together. Afterward, they analyzed Rafe’s behavior, which hopefully means someone will start to guess that “Rafe” isn’t Rafe soon. Gabi told JJ how much she felt for Jada and couldn’t believe Rafe would treat her like that. And that the last few weeks, he hasn’t been himself.
JJ ultimately suggested that he and Shawn should investigate EJ and clear Jada’s name. After all, Jada is dead sure that EJ is behind setting her up as a corrupt cop. The anti-EJ machine is building up steam.

Drink Thrown
Belle (Martha Madison) found out that EJ tried to get her fired. However, she didn’t get that mad. After throwing her drink all over him, she basically told him to bring it on. And now, it’s a competition for who’s the better DA and who will outwit, outlast, and outplay the other for the job.
But at one point, EJ almost confessed something, and it wasn’t the fact that he was going to get her fired. For a second, it really felt like he was going to tell her all about Rafe and that chaotic mess. And then Paulina (Jackée Harry) called.

Now, EJ has a target on his back, and Belle will undoubtedly become one of his enemies once she learns about his recent misdeeds.
