The Grammy Awards may have celebrated the biggest names in music last night, but over in Salem, the stars of Days of our Lives were busy revealing the tracks they’ve had on repeat. In a fun behind-the-scenes Instagram video, the cast shared their recent playlist obsession. Their music taste is as dramatic and eclectic as the show itself! From pop queens to classic rock legends, here’s what your favorite Salem residents have been jamming to.

Baby Shark, But Make It Soap Opera

Carson Boatman (Johnny) had perhaps the most relatable answer for parents everywhere: his playlist is basically out of his control. “My playlist has been hijacked by baby songs,” he admitted, before specifically mentioning Sharon, Lois, and Bram’s children’s classic Skinnamarinky. Parenthood problems, right?

Pop Princesses

Meanwhile, Ashley Puzemis (Holly) kept things simple and iconic, stating, “Mine’s always Taylor Swift.” No shocker there since Taylor’s Eras Tour is still all anyone can talk about, so Ashley is clearly in good company. Also vibing to pop music is Raven Bowens (Chanel). She’s keeping things fun with Sabrina Carpenter, who has been taking the world by storm with her pop perfection. Last night, Sabrina took home the award for Best Pop Vocal Album.

Throwbacks, Rock Anthems, and Unexpected Choices

Some cast members were feeling nostalgic, like Greg Rikaart (Leo), who revealed, “I’m revisiting some like old classics.” No specific names were dropped, but we’re imagining anything from Fleetwood Mac to The Rolling Stones.

Louis Tomeo (Aaron) is rocking out with 2019 Grammy winner Greta Van Fleet, keeping the classic rock spirit alive with the modern-day Led Zeppelin vibes. Meanwhile, Leo Howard (Tate) showed off his diverse taste by shouting out Jason Isbell and Pink Pony Club by last night’s New Artist Grammy Winner Chappell Roan.

Jackée Harry (Paulina) had an interesting pick: “I like Chris Brown residuals.” That got a big reaction from Elia Cantu (Jada), who responded with a very enthusiastic, “Oooh, okay!” Speaking of Cantu, she’s been vibing to Bad Bunny, because obviously, Latin music is never a bad idea. Al Calderon (Javi), was very much the same sticking to latin artists and he also who used the moment for a little joking self-promo: “I have a song coming out next month!” We’ll be waiting, Al – don’t keep Salem in suspense!

So there you have it—whether you’re into pop bangers, rock anthems, or baby lullabies, the Days cast has a little something for everyone.
