While Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans are excited to see Kate Mansi back in Salem later this year, they still have a long wait — but at least you can see her this weekend in a new project!
While Mansi won’t be airing as Abby until at least December, the actress tweeted that you can see her this Saturday, June 2, in a new film! On Instagram, she added a contest guess the name of the film.
The pict she posted implies she’ll be playing a cocktail waitress, and if you give the most creative guess, you could win a script. And remember — she’s not looking for the correct guess, necessarily, but the most creative.
That’s probably because a simple check of her IMDB page shows that she’s completed filming a movie called Nightclub Secrets, where she plays a character named Zoe. The movie is a thriller and will air on Lifetime Movie Network at 8 pm.

In the film, Zoe’s sister is murdered and she decides to investigate. This leads Zoe into going undercover at a bar to find out what her sister knew that might have gotten her killed. She ends up risking her life in her attempt to get justice for her sister, Rachel.
Hopefully, the movie will ease the long wait Mansi’s fans have before they get to see their fave back in Salem. Still no word on whether the actress has extended her short-term contract now that co-star Billy Flynn (Chad) has signed a new one.
Mansi, when she announced this film, called it surprise number one. Here’s hoping that surprise number two is that she’s staying with DAYS longterm as well. Soap Hub will be sure to let you know as soon as we hear anything.
