Ciara and Claire really pulled out all the stops in order to become the New Face of BELLA on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL).
(Were there no other girls competing who didn’t live in Salem and who weren’t related to the folks running the contest? That usually eliminates you right off the bat.)
Ciara (Victoria Konefal) played fair, but Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) rigged the vote, with a little help from computer genius Wyatt (after Theo said thanks, but no thanks).
Now, Ciara has the goods on her niece and plans to expose Claire, the same way that Claire exposed Rafe’s (Galen Gering) affair with Sami (Allison Sweeney) at his and Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) wedding.

The Face of Boredom
This whole story is silly, yawn 69% of you. Who cares about some off-screen contest for an off-screen magazine? The nepotism alone would make it illegal. Brady (Eric Marstolf) is Claire’s uncle. (He and her mom, Belle, are both John’s kids – yes, we know, it’s hard to keep track.)

He’s also Ciara’s cousin. (Brady’s mom, the namesake Isabella, was Ciara’s father’s biological half-sister – the fact that both grew up calling other men Dad is what makes it even more confusing.)
If the writers want to set up a Claire/Ciara/Tripp (Lucas Adams) triangle, they need to try a little harder to make the stakes matter.
The Face Of Fun
Oh, come on, lighten up, this is good old-fashioned soap teen scene fun (now with social media!), cheer 31% of you. It’s nice to see kids in a storyline that’s appropriate for their age, instead of prematurely grown up angst.
Nothing serious is at stake here, but the kids are acting as if it is. That’s teen-dom in a nutshell, and you’d rather watch it than manufactured high drama.
