As Steve and Justin battle for Kayla’s heart on Days of our Lives, her portrayer, Mary Beth Evans, is happy to have one special guy to call her own. The couple has been married going on 35 years and has three grown children—Danny, Katie, and Matthew.

Posting to her Instagram page, Evans wished long-time husband Michael Schwartz a special day, writing “Happy Birthday to my renaissance man” alongside a photo of the cosmetic surgeon peeling potatoes.
“Over this lockdown, @michaelschwartzmd has walked with me 5 miles a day, mastered the art of beginning breadmaking, smoked amazing meats, been super grandpa every day (diapers, feeding, burping, loving), practiced piano and guitar and been the best partner a girl could ask for,” Evans shared. “Love you too much my hubby/life partner #❤”

Evans’ Days costar Linsey Godfrey (Sarah) also celebrated with her special guy, as May 7 was also the birthday of her boyfriend, Clueless actor Breckin Meyer.
Alongside photos of the former Franklin & Bash star sleeping with the dog, outside wearing an astronaut’s costume with a Boba Fett mask, and another silly shot of him wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt, cowboy hat, and a striped bathing suit giving “finger guns,” Godfrey posted a loving tribute.
