Love makes soaps go ’round so it’s not surprising that soap fans long for couples of yore–those love stories that made us sigh and made our toes tingle. Days of Our Lives has been known for its share of supercouples and in the 1980s–it was tops in that category.
While the soap still has couples to root for today, Soap Hub asked which Salem pairs you miss the most and you came up with some top dogs.
Sami and EJ
Out of about 3,000 votes, E.J. and Sami (James Scott and Alison Sweeney) came out on top with 56% of you. E.J. died just two years ago, and some of you hope he’s still alive.
When Sami last left town in 2015, she was convinced E.J. was out there somewhere, and we did see Kristen over his supposedly dead body. Perhaps DAYS fans’ dreams can come true one day, and Sami actually has E.J. in hiding now.

Bo and Hope
A smaller 40% of you miss Bo and Hope (Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso) like there’s no tomorrow.

They barely reunited last year, only to have him die in Hope’s arms from a brain tumor not 24 hours (in Salem time) later. What a rip-off! You want Brady back with his Fancy Face and somehow wish Hope was in on a faked death to keep Bo away from the bad guys. However, she moved on with Rafe pretty quick, so we’re thinking that’s not the case.
Jack and Jennifer
A much smaller 4% of you still miss Jack and Jennifer (Matthew Ashford and Melissa Reeves) more than anyone else. We know Jennifer sure misses Jack, as any time she’s down, she conjures up his spirit. Alas, we saw him die in an elevator accident, and it doesn’t seem he’s coming back for real any time soon.
