On Days Of Our Lives, Claire has a tendency to go after other people’s boyfriends. She set her eyes on Theo (Kyler Pettis) when she knew Ciara (Victoria Konefal) liked him, too.
The same went for Tripp (Lucas Adams). That’s why Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) coerced Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) into working with her to break up the happy couple.
Now that Tripp knows about their scheming, his fledgling relationship with Claire appears to be kaput. Should the big-eyed schemer just forget about him and move on? Here’s what almost 5,000 think:
A Whole New World
Buy a clue, Claire, 86% of you urge. He’s just not that into you. Even when you manage to trick him into taking an interest in you, it always, always goes wrong. This is definitely not a meant to be pairing.
We realize that might be hard for you to understand, considering you grew up watching your parents, Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn (Jason Cook), and your grandparents, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Bo (Peter Reckell), and Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John (Drake Hogysten), constantly breaking up.
But they were star-crossed lovers. You and Tripp are not. You and Tripp are a mistake. You can do better. Give it up.

For 14%, however, quitting is not an option. The fact that Tripp keeps coming back to Claire, no matter what she does, means there’s something there. She just hasn’t quite found the right approach to make it happen.
Ciara treated Tripp like a back-up boyfriend to the guy she really wanted but couldn’t have. Claire actually likes Tripp for who he is.
She’ll do whatever she needs in order to make him happy, and she’ll forgive his periodic faux pas – like trying to frame Ben for the fire that nearly killed Ciara – and even cover up for him. Tripp needs Claire, and she should make him see that.
