While Dario has only been gone a short time from Salem, the man who played him stopped taping on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) last March – and he’s been busy ever since.
Jordi Vilasuso sat down with Soap Hub and let us know on what’s been keeping him busy these days. The actor has already shot not one but two flicks.
“I just did a movie, I think it’s going to be on Lifetime, called Killer Island,” he shared.
When asked to describe this character, he revealed, “He’s maybe not what he seems like he should be.”
In the movie, a woman is on her dream vacation with her husband, and becomes a target after she starts to suspect one of the island’s locals may have committed multiple murders.

Also in that movie is Brian Patrick Clarke, who is no stranger to soap fans. Clarke played Grant Andrews/Grant Putnam on General Hospital (1983-1985), Storm Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful (1990-1991), and Don Jacob on The Young and the Restless in 2000.
In his second project, which wrapped not too long ago, Vilasuso plays the title character in Clyde Cooper. He’s a private investigator hired to track down a missing girl on the run from a mysterious Silicon Valley corporation.
