Is it a case of “she’s just not that into you,” if the girl you like would prefer to move a serial killer into your shared apartment (over your objections)? That’s what Tripp would like to know on Days of Our Lives.
Because that’s kind of what just happened to him. Ciara (Victoria Konefal) moved Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), reformed(?) killer and roadside rescuer, into the apartment she shares with Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan).
Tripp freaked out. Ben ate cereal (inside joke). Claire plotted to drive a wedge between Tripp and Ciara.
Is it working? Should Tripp forget trying to have a relationship with a girl who obviously prefers her bad boys really, really bad?
(All the stunts Tripp pulled when he first came to town, against Kayla and others, is nothing compared to strangling folks with neckties.)

It was super close, but 51% of you agree that This Relationship Cannot Be Saved. It was one thing when Ciara pulled away from Tripp’s kisses and didn’t want to take it any further. That was still Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) from her rape.

On the other hand, 49% of the audience thinks Tripp should keep trying. Maybe it’s not PTSD, but it’s definitely Stockholm Syndrome. You know, like Belle in Beauty and the Beast.
Ciara just thinks she has feelings for Ben as a result of being holed up with him all those weeks. He saved her and she’s grateful. That’s messing with her judgment.
But she’ll snap out of it, eventually, and Tripp should be there, ready and waiting. And not distracted by Claire or any other woman. Stay the course, man!
