Even though she won’t be airing until close to the end of the year, Kate Mansi is currently back on the DAYS set, and letting us know it.
The Daytime Emmy-winning actress was hanging out in the makeup chair at the studio and shot a little Instagram story of her learning about a new product the DAYS hairstylists were ready to use.
While we’ve known for a while that Mansi would be returning to the show, it’s feeling more real when we get to see pictures and video of her actually at the studio. But that also means that scenes with Marci Miller’s Abby are winding down.
Right now, Abby learned that she’s pregnant, and the way it seems to time out for Miller’s exit, she may be the one who gets to give birth to the child before the end of November sweeps.

Then again, if Mansi has to be the one to play Abby giving birth, that will be quite a re-entrance onto the Salem scene.
Seeing Abby with her family, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), JJ (Casey Moss), and now with the return of Matthew Ashford as Jack, will be well worth the wait for Mansi. And let’s not forget about her popular pairing with Billy Flynn’s Chad.
