That relationship between Abby and Jennifer was the quintessential mother-daughter pairing on Days of Our Lives, and the chemistry between actresses Kate Mansi and Melissa Reeves was out of this world.
As Reeves celebrates 31 years as our beloved heroine Jennifer Horton, Mansi made it a point to wish her on-screen mom the best, despite her absence from the DAYS set. (Marci Miller debuts in the role Mansi made famous next month.)
With an Instagram picture featuring Reeves and TV brother Casey Moss as JJ, Mansi flashes back to a time when they were all together with a #wcw (Women Crush Wednesday) hashtag.

It’s hard to believe the Jennifer Horton, created as a high school student crushing on Glenn Gallagher, is now a grandmother. Time sure does fly, as we all feel old. But, Reeves still looks as vibrant as ever–and gave us a heck of a performance as a despondent and pill-addicted Jen this year.
