While Marci Miller has certainly had an impact as Abby on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), Kate Mansi was the one who put her on the map. Are fans excited for her return?
That is exactly what Soap Hub wanted to know, and you certainly didn’t disappoint, with almost 13,000 voicing opinions on the subject.
It was a tough question, considering Mansi won a Daytime Emmy for the role in the Supporting Actress category, while Miller was nominated in Lead — an almost unheard of feat for someone new to the genre. That is a tough club to get invited to and she did it quickly.
So where did fans fall on this question? Here are the results.
Welcome Home
A whopping 81% can’t wait to see Mansi return to the role that made her famous. Her chemistry with Billy Flynn’s Chad was off the charts and you can’t wait to see if they still got it. Or perhaps she will really click with Stefan (Tyler Christopher).

Either way, you know when Mansi is on, the show is can’t miss TV and you’re hoping it will be again. Now that Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) is there too, seeing him with the Abby he tormented — well those scenes will mean even more now.
Missing Marci
For the other 19%, while you’re happy for Mansi’s return, a part of you is brokenhearted to be losing Miller’s version of the young heroine. It may have taken you a while to get used to her but then you might in love with her Abby all over again.
While you’re happy to see where Miller ends up landing, you preferred that she stay Salem.
