A grandfather holds a very special place in a young girl’s heart and for former Days of Our Lives star Kate Mansi, her “Pappa” was no different. The two shared a very special bond, and she recently paid tribute to him.
The actress, who left the role of Abby DiMera on DAYS back in February, posted several pictures of him to her social media accounts, sharing a loving tribute to the man who obviously had a profound influence on her life during her childhood — and on her actions.
“Celebrating my Grandfather. He was an exceptional equestrian, a man of integrity, and prioritized his family above all else. He climbed Mt. Whitney annually and standing where he stood has been one of the greatest accomplishments in my life thus far.”
That is quite an accomplishment indeed — no matter what age one is when they’re able to do it! But that wasn’t the only thing the actress has done that would garner her grandfather’s praise — which was something that made her feel incredible.
