When it rains, it pours on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL)! Eric (Greg Vaughan) went from getting dumped by Nicole (Arianne Zucker) to will-they-or-won’t-they with Jennifer (Melissa Reeves).
He and Jen finally got through the nonsense and seem to be in a good place… and now Nicole is headed back to Salem?

Stay the Course
It was close, but 48% pulled it out and decided he should be with Jen. Sure, they’re both recovering addicts, but, nonetheless, there appears to be less drama with Jen than with Nicole – as long as you don’t count Jen’s kids, Abigail (Marci Miller) and JJ (Casey Moss).
Of course, that could all change as Jen has her own ex, Jack (Matthew Ashford) on his way back home. But, for now, this is the couple you’re rooting for.
What’s Up, Nic?
A very similar number, however, 41%, are rooting for an Ericole reunion. These two never got a fair shake the first time around.
Nicole didn’t want to leave Eric, Brady (Eric Marstolf) forced her to, and Eric deserves to know the truth. He was so obsessed with Nicole at one point that she butted into his dreams. Doesn’t Eric deserve to have a dream come true?

And then there are the 9% of you, who think this just might drive Eric back to full-time priesthood.
After all, God is more loyal than those wishy-washy women. God won’t turn His back on Eric. God won’t leave town without explaining Himself. And it makes choosing an outfit in the morning much easier.
On the other hand, if Eric couldn’t make the priesthood work before, what makes anyone think he’d be able to do it again… now with even more baggage?
