Abe finally made his decision on who the next Salem Police Commissioner should be on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) – and it left one half of Hope and Rafe needing to answer to the other.

Like Peas and Carrots
Rafe (Galen Gering) has always had a strong sense of respect towards the woman he loves. Now that she will be his superior, at least 84% of you can’t imagine he will feel any different nor let it affect their working relationship. After all, he loves her!
Sure, they may hit a few snags along the way, but you know love rules – and apparently now so does Hope. Rafe will see coworkers like JJ (Casey Moss) and Lani (Sal Stowers) excited to work for her and it will fill him with pride – not envy.

Trouble Ahead
Thinking they’ll still be able to work effectively now that Rafe has to answer to his fiancée is a pipe dream, say a cynical 16% of you. While he may seem to be going along with it for the moment, you know Rafe and he’ll probably still do what he thinks is right – rules be damned.
Only now the enforcer of those rules happens to be Hope and you see troubled waters ahead for these two. How can it be anything but? You know Rafe will probably try to bend the rules for someone (more than likely, yet another family member), and Hope will be forced to condemn his actions.
What if she has to suspend him? How on earth will they go home together and be fine? No way! You know this has failure written all over it and you’re just sitting back and waiting to watch the inevitable fireworks when the whole thing goes to hell.
