The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, May 14 has Brady finally telling his grandfather no — and choosing a life with Eve over the top spot at Titan!
Blast From The Past
Theresa (Jen Lilley) was shocked to see Xander (Paul Telfer) alive. He threatened to go to Mateo unless she told him about her plan.
After she did, she promised if he helped her, she’d get Victor to accept him. He had his own terms — hand over the flash drive or he’d tell Mateo about her betrayal. With No choice, she handed it over to him right before Mateo found them.
Earlier, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) tried to stand up to Mateo. Because of his threats, she did everything he asked, including singing and dancing for him. She requested speaking to her son, but he said not until he trusts her more.
Indecent Proposal
Victor (John Aniston) wanted to stop Brady (Eric Martsolf) from marrying Eve (Kassie DePaiva) but said he was there to let him know about Vivian’s death.
After Eve left, Brady asked what he wasn’t telling him, but all Victor said was he didn’t want him to make a mistake he’d regret. He offered Brady Titan if he walked away from Eve. Brady told Eve everything and they became engaged.

Hired Hand
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) told Paul (Christopher Sean) and Will (Chandler Massey) about Kate killing Vivian. He then hired Paul to help him find Chloe.
Corporate Changes
Sonny (Freddie Smith) apologized to Leo (Greg Rikaart) for breaking his own rule and kissing him. Kate called Leo and let him know he now works for her and to move forward with the sexual harassment plot.
Later Kate met with Victor and told him he’ll find a way to repay her for the removal of Vivian one day.
Will told Sonny about Abby’s confession. He wanted to give Ari the good news together. The two men shared a moment, with Will telling Sonny to text him if he ever wants to have lunch — making Sonny smile.
