Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, October 2 features everyone in complete shock after Ben reveals why he escaped Bayview to crash the big wedding.
Wedding Crasher
Ben interrupted the weddings, sending Abby (Marci Miller) into a fantasy where everyone disappeared and she was alone with Ben. Her actions in the fantasy seemed to be happening in real life too. She approached him in both, telling him off – and then she punched him. Miraculously, the worlds melded back with no explanation.
Ben then railed at people in the crowd. He mentioned how sorry he was to miss John (Drake Hogestyn), Marlena (Deidre Hall), and Andre (Thaao Penghlis) during their Bayview stays. He would have liked to have gotten back at Andre for what he did to his father.
The Cavalry
As Rafe (Galen Gering) held him back, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Abe (James Reynolds) wanted Ben out of there and called for backup. As they dragged him away, he said he didn’t come for Abby or Chad (Billy Flynn) – he came to talk to Sonny.
Shocking Claims!
Sonny yelled at him for taking away Will (Chandler Massey) and all of the others. Ben kept trying to interrupt so he could share his news. He finally got it out – the three words he wanted to share: “Will is alive!”

As Will’s loved ones lashed out, saying it couldn’t be true, Ben warned that if Sonny doesn’t listen to him, he’ll always wonder. Paul tried to talk him out of it, but Sonny agreed to give him a moment to explain himself. Paul warned him against it, and Sonny finally agreed. Brady and John showed Paul their support.
On With The Show
Chad wanted to move on with the wedding, but Sonny asked for a minute. Paul tried to give Sonny the strength he needed to go through with it, but during Abby’s vows, Sonny kept flashing back to key moments with Will.
Sonny then ran out of the church. He told Paul he couldn’t marry him until he heard Ben out. With their friends in such turmoil, Abby and Chad decided to postpone too.
At the station, JJ was furious because Ben killed the woman he loved. He pushed for the truth but Ben only wanted to talk with Sonny. JJ (Casey Moss) lost his temper and Rafe had to stop him. Eventually Sonny arrived, ready to face off with Ben.
