After a grueling year in which daytime vet Kassie DePaiva fought and beat cancer, the actress is reportedly back on the Days of Our Lives (DOOL) set as Eve Larson.
According to the June 12 issue of Soap Opera Digest, DePaiva will first air on October 30, a month when various old faves make their Salem returns, including Chandler Massey (Will), Alison Sweeney (Sami), and William Utay (Dr. Rolf).
In a Soap Opera Digest interview last month, DePaiva admitted she was slated for a long term DAYS story when she received her diagnosis for leukemia. She had to turn down the offer to focus on chemotherapy and recover.
On World Cancer Day this year, the actress tweeted that she was cancer-free.

Eve was last seen in Salem for Theresa’s almost-wedding to Brady last fall, but then returned to NY and wasn’t even around when her sister was forced to leave her son and Salem behind thanks to a drug lord.
