It has been almost a year since Rafe arrested his father, Eduardo, on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) and fans had to say goodbye to A Martinez. Now comes word of a new gig for the actor.
Leaving DAYS gave Martinez the opportunity to concentrate on his role on the popular show Longmire. Now that the show has come to an end, fans have been wondering where they might be able to see the actor next. Thankfully, it wasn’t a long wait.
The actor recently took to Instagram and shared a photo of the next script he’ll be working on — and it’s a great one! He’ll be appearing in the fourth episode of the third season of Queen of the South.
According IMDB, Queen Of The South about a woman who flees Mexico after her drug-runner boyfriend is murdered. Settling in Dallas, she looks to become the country’s reigning drug smuggler and to avenge her lover’s murder. While we don’t know what role Martinez will play, we’ll let you know when we do.

His daughter Gabi (Camila Banus) has been charged with Andre’s murder, and his son Rafe (Galen Gering) is in a heap of romantic trouble.
Sure, Eduardo was sent to prison for the long haul but surely something could be worked out to get him released early on good behavior, right?
