First Look: Alison’s Sweeney’s First Day Back On The DAYS Set

It’s always good news when we learn that Alison Sweeney is bringing Sami back to Days of Our Lives (DOOL).

Recently, news broke that she’ll once again return to Salem hot on the heels of a storyline that ended last fall after sleeping with her ex Rafe (Galen Gering).

That (perhaps ill-advised) action ultimately led to a disastrous wedding day for Rafe and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), and now he’s single and sad hoping against hope (see what we did there?) he can work things out with a woman who seems totally over it.

While fans pray they see Sami return carrying Rafe’s child, the actress’s latest hint into her work at the soap doesn’t give much insight into her storyline. She recently posted an exciting look at her first day of filming, but all we can tell for sure is that she’s with her TV mom Deidre Hall (Marlena).

One thing’s certain, Sweeney is right, there’s no place like home, and Salem is certainly Sami’s. We’re thrilled to see she’ll be back this summer and can’t wait to see what she’ll be up to once she blows back into town.
