Ben may be on his meds, he may have been gainfully employed – kind of, either with Stefan (Tyler Christopher) or Chad (Billy Flynn) – and he may be making adorable goo-goo eyes at Ciara (Victoria Konefal). But an even 50% of you still aren’t all that sure about him.
Sure, he’s all cleaned up, but hey, remember when he killed all those people, including Will (Chandler Massey) (for a while)?
Remember when he forced Abigail (Kate Mansi) to give birth in a cabin in the middle of nowhere, then chained her and Chad to the bed and set it on fire, while Ben took off with baby Thomas (then called Colin)?
Yeah, those weren’t particularly good times, and there’s no certainty they won’t happen again!
Lovely Days
On the other hand, the other half of you, well, 49% is thrilled to see Ben back in Salem. First, let’s be honest, he is easy on the eyes, and you can never have too much of that.
Second, he’s got that, I was an abused little boy and that’s why I did all those bad things but don’t you want to love me and make me all better and in return I will be grateful to you for the rest of our days, thing going on.
