A new year means a new opportunity for new couples to consider their options on Days of Our Lives.
For months, Tripp (Lucas Adams) was hung up on Ciara (Victoria Konafel). He thought they could live happily ever after.
If only it weren’t for that darn serial killer whom Ciara seemed so obsessed with. So, Tripp decided to speed up the process of Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) going back to jail. By framing him.
Ciara found out and dumped Tripp because of it. Oops.
Meanwhile, Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) was pining over Tripp and resenting her aunt (yeah, the Bradys are complicated) having him.
Well, now they’re both single and ready to mingle. Should Tripp and Claire hook up – in a fast ‘Clipp?’ Here’s what over 11,000 fans had to say about the possibility.
Unrewarded
For 75% of you, Claire and Tripp may be an ideal couple, but you still don’t want Claire being rewarded for her bad behavior. She’s the one who caused Tripp and Ciara’s breakup – in a roundabout way.

Tripp was still the one primarily at fault – and she shouldn’t benefit from it. It’s kind of like how criminals aren’t allowed to make money from selling the rights to their stories, etc… Same thing. Only different.
Perfect Pair
And yet, 25% of the audience doesn’t care about that. Tripp and Claire are perfect for each other, the minority vote insists. They’re both schemers who don’t care who they trample on their way to getting what they want.
So, wouldn’t it be better to turn them on each other and protect a lot of otherwise nice people from getting in their way? Making each other suffer is better for the majority of Salem.
Besides, it would really piss off Ciara, maybe Theo, too. And it would keep things hopping in a way Tripp and Ciara never could.
