Doesn’t it feel like Nicole has been leaving Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) forever? Actress Arianne Zucker’s departure was announced so long ago, fans have felt like every story point would be her last.
First, we thought she’d take off with Holly and disappear. Then we thought she’d run off after she was outed as an ex-porn star on the run with her kid. Then we thought Deimos kidnapping her would be her last hurrah. Then it was her killing Deimos, then it was her running off with Eric (Greg Vaughan).

What we rooted for was Nicole to get her baby back from Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and form a family with Brady (Eric Martsolf) and then, sure, yeah, why not, decide that the guy who’d sacrificed everything for her was yesterday’s news and bed his brother, the priest?

Sure, shrug a more forgiving 6%. It’s not perfect, but the one constant about Nicole has always been her desire for a baby.
She’s got her baby now, she can move on. Besides, Holly is Daniel’s child. And Daniel is the most beloved saint to ever pass through Salem. Just getting to nurture his offspring should be enough for any woman!
