Eve was only trying to help Brady win custody of his son Tate on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), but her dirty dealing blew up big time — so does she deserve to lose Brady over it?

After all, she was scheming for him, not against him. She couldn’t bear to think of him being separated from his sweet boy. Tate was also her only chance to be a mother again — so what if she was already his aunt?

She didn’t trust her no-good selfish sister (in her mind), Theresa (Jen Lilley), and therefore she had to do everything she could to hold onto Tate — and his father. But she went behind his back to ask Victor (John Aniston), of all people, for help.

After Victor planted cocaine in JJ’s (Casey Moss) apartment, since Theresa was staying there, the compromise between Brady and Theresa for joint custody went up in smoke.

While Eve tried to tell Brady what happened, she didn’t have the guts. But, we know he will find out. And, when that happens, should he dump Eve by the side of the road or should he forgive her, knowing she had his best interests at heart?

Soap Hub asked and almost 4,000 of you decided to weigh in with your judgments. Here’s how it all turned out.

Watch Your Back
A whopping 87% of you do not believe in second chances and feel Eve deserves to be hoisted on her own petard for what she has now cost Brady. He no longer gets to see his son! And it’s all her fault.

Had she just minded her own business, it would have all worked out and she could have kept her man and her nephew/son in her life. She should have known better than to trust Victor.

Cast the First Stone
Brady is hardly blameless and has made horrible mistakes throughout his life — who is he to judge Eve? It’s not like she was working against him! She was trying to help him! He can be mad for a little bit but then you think he needs to find it in his heart to forgive Eve.

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
