Why not continue exploring where this relationship might go? They can actually go out on a real date this time, then maybe have sex, then get married, then have a baby. Not exactly the way things usually go on soaps, but how about trying something really retro?

Eli and Gabi (Camila Banus) truly liked each other. Until THE MISUNDERSTANDING. So, why not pick up where they left off, a minority 14% suggests.
Gabi is having a very hard time right now. Abigail (Marci Miller), Chad (Billy Flynn), and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) would probably really appreciate it if Gabi had someone to focus on – who wasn’t them.
Eli might cheer Gabi up enough that she no longer feels driven to ruin lives. And it would piss off Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). That’s always fun.
