There are all kinds of Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) fans. There are the folks who are here just for the couples – or one, particular couple. There are the ones who are here just for the actors — or one, particular actor.
There are people who watch every day, those who tune in a couple of times a week, and the once a month check-in, just to see if anything interesting has happened.
But over 6,000 viewers voted on how long they’ve been watching. Here are the results:
Ride Or Die
A whopping 95% of you claimed you’ve been “watching the whole time.” Does that mean since the first episode, which aired on November 8, 1965? If so, wow! You not only remember Tate being born, but his dad, Brady (Eric Martsolf), too.
You remember when John (Drake Hogestyn) was Roman, and when Roman (Josh Taylor) was Chris, which means he dated his now sister, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), but you probably don’t want to dwell on that.
You remember when Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was only Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) sister, not her stepmother; when Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) was on crutches and not finding new children every time she turned around; and when John Aniston (Victor) wasn’t exclusively known as “Jennifer’s father.”

And the Rest
It was a battle for last place, as 2% claimed you were just coming back to see what the new head writer will come up with. If past performance is any indication, prepare for the plots to get crazier.
Though this is the show which had Marlena (Deidre Hall) possessed by the Devil, then made her a serial killer… who didn’t actually kill anyone. There was also a virtual reality Eden so, you know, how much crazier could things get?
