Explosive Developments
Brady (Eric Martsolf) heard Nicole (Arianne Zucker) calling out and tried to get her attention. She still hated him, but he said if she wants to live, she should get him out. She told him about the strange initialed rooms but left to find Eric.
Eric (Greg Vaughan) tried to work Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), who admitted to having EJ and others as her project.
Race to the End
Sami (Alison Sweeney) found Eric and Kristen and tried to strangle her, but Xander (Paul Telfer) stopped everything. He told an angry Eric that Nicole knocked him out.
Rolf was revealed as alive and he injected the mystery patient, who jumped out of the wheelchair and attacked Rolf after he said Sami’s name.

As he did this, he knocked things over and started a fire, which then led to an explosion, shocking everyone. Xander and Kristen took off as Sami freed Eric.
Sami and Eric rescued Brady but then she took off to find EJ. The guys found a trapped Nicole and Holly. She passed them Holly through a hole in the debris.
As Brady took Holly to safety, ran into Kristen who tried to get him to drop Holly and be with her. (Say what? Yep, that happened.)
