On a morning that offered some earth-shattering excitement, Days of our Lives actress Tamara Braun shared a little bit about the start of her day.
Tamara Braun Gives Fans A Behind-The-Scenes Look
“Happy Monday people!” she wrote on Instagram. “Just scrolling through photo library after two earthquakes this morning and found me strolling back from H&MU to my dressing room.”
According to multiple news reports, a magnitude-4.0 earthquake was reported at 4:44 a.m. near Inglewood, Calif., not far from the DAYS studio, less than 30 minutes after two smaller foreshocks hit the same area.
But Braun didn’t seem too fazed and was happy to be at work and offer a glimpse of her trek from hair and makeup to her dressing room to get ready to shoot her scenes for the day.
The Daytime Emmy-winning actress posted a video to provide fans this behind-the-scenes look at her journey onto the NBC soap’s set. As Braun strolled through the halls of the studio — with a mask of course — you can see some iconic photos in the background portraying Days of our Lives history, including one of Macdonald Carey and Frances Reid (Tom and Alice) and a cast photo circa 1975.
“Just another day at the office,” she says in the video. “But a very, very, very nice office to work at.”
She also sings a little bit of Barbra Streisand’s “People” as she offers greetings to some of those who work behind the scenes of the show.
“Yes, the hallways are pretty bare and that’s okay,” Braun wrote. “We still have strict COVID rules in place and I for one am grateful. Thank you #days for going above and beyond to keep us safe during this whakadoo time in history. Have a good one, all!”
Braun was most likely filming some scenes with Lucas Adams (Tripp) or Nicole (Arianne Zucker), as Ava works to keep Nicole from divulging her secret and tries to keep her son in her life. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
