Kayla is going through extreme emotional turmoil on Days of our Lives thanks Steve returning to Salem but life is nothing but smooth sailing for her portrayer, Mary Beth Evans. The Daytime Emmy-winning actress reveals it’s about to get a whole lot better.
Mary Beth Evans Reveals Big News
The New Year was a cause for celebration for everyone, including the DAYS actress, who shared an Instagram video for the occasion. In it, she shared her hope for Kayla, but also some big news about her own life.
“I think my New Year’s resolution for Kayla is to keep all her patients alive,” she obviously joked, as she leaned into the camera. “And for Mary Beth, I’d say be the best grandma since I have two more coming and that makes three, so this is a very good year. Cheers to everybody, Happy New Year,” she added before toasting with champagne.

Best Grandma
The actress has already proven to be over the moon with her first grandchild, whose images dominate her Instagram account. Young Henry Herman Schwartz has obviously become the apple of his grandmother’s eye, but he’s going to have to learn to share the spotlight.
While Evans didn’t explain whether or not Henry’s getting twin siblings or perhaps one more and also a cousin, it’s obvious that actress takes her familial role very seriously and is looking forward to having two more little ones to spoil.

In the meantime, Kayla is having a rough time now that she’s been surprised by her ex-husband’s return. Kayla is in for a lot of pain as Steve continues to act like a stranger to her.
