Time flies when you’re having fun! We suppose that’s how Camila Banus feels as she is celebrating a decade of playing Gabi Hernandez on Days of Our Lives. To honor the event, or perhaps it was just a coincidence, the actress did a photoshoot for the NBC soap.

Banus made the Salem scene when Gabi paid a surprise visit to Salem to see siblings Rafe (Galen Gering) and Arianna (Lindsay Hartley). She became involved with the younger set on the show, eventually falling into bed with Will Horton (Chandler Massey), who was grappling with his sexual identity at the time. The two made love and conceived a baby, Arianna, named after Gabi’s sister who had died.
Involved with many escapades over the years, Gabi’s been imprisoned more than once — but upon her most recent release, she’s gone all out to get what she wants. Banus takes Gabi to the edge but never so far that audiences won’t forgive her.

One of Gabi’s most heinous acts in recent memory was not believing Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) when she had a heart attack. Gabi made amends by letting Julie have Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) heart. In dramatic sequences, laced with a tad bit of humor, Gabi threatened to blow up Julie’s pacemaker via a phone app unless Lani (Sal Stowers) called off her wedding to Eli (Lamon Archey).
More recently. Gabi hightailed it out of Salem after realizing it wasn’t a safe place to be because of her father Eduardo’s (A Martinez) actions. Fans weighed in on the photoshoot, raving about how glamorous the actress looks.
