Everybody’s got an opinion…especially where their favorite daytime drama is concerned – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of the Days of Our Lives week that was.

Days of Our Lives: Week In Review

People sometimes make the wrong choices for the right reasons…or at least that’s what they tell themselves. That’s the excuse Laura (Jaime Lyn Bauer) used to explain her paying Tiffany off for all those years…but Jack (Matthew Ashford) rightfully pointed out that his mother-in-law’s actions resulted in the creation of the monster known as Gwen (Emily O’Brien).

Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) knew that it wasn’t a good idea to let themselves be disarmed or relieved of their cell phones or follow Ivan (Ivan G’Vera) into a room supposedly containing their babies, but they were so desperate to reunite their family that commonsense failed them. Now their prisoners…like rats in a maze.

Or a Ciara (Victoria Konefal) in a glass cage. Ciara knew that she had to try and stage a breakout, but she did a rather poor job of it, and now her predicament is worse than ever.

Much like Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk). Kristen knew that it was inadvisable to escape from her jail cell and to hold Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) at gunpoint, all in the name of having a few minutes with her injured lover…a lover who was sorely ticked off when found out exactly what transpired while he was comatose.

And just as inadvisable is the scheme that Kristen is cooking up that’s going to involve her and a certain doppelganger pulling a Parent Trap on the whole of Salem…it’s too bad Ciara doesn’t have one of those at her disposal.

Further DAYS Musings

* You can tell us that we’re wrong all you want, but we swear that during those flashbacks to the mid-’90s, Marci Miller was wearing Seinfeld’s notorious puffy pirate shirt.

* Does Gabi (Camila Banus) not own the DiMera mansion? We’re pretty sure she does, so why in the world is she rooming with Rafe (Galen Gering)? Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
