The Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, July 18 features a day of comic relief as Kristen donned a familiar disguise. Her days as Nicole are over (for now) and she took on a whole new persona.
Here’s Your Mask Back!
Xander (Paul Telfer) thought he got on up on Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) but he was wrong. Very, very wrong. He found out how hard he failed when “Susan” sat him down and had him shut his eyes. When he opened them up he got a big surprise — she was holding the wrestling mask. Boy, oh boy, did he underestimate her.
Something’s Up With Susan
The gift was a warning shot but it did more than that. It raised alarm bells for Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will (Chandler Massey). In fact, Susan’s impromptu visit had their suspicions rising.
They weren’t wrong. Not only is Susan not Susan (which they do not know yet) but they found a gun in her purse.
Xander had more trouble coming his way. A run-in with Gabi (Camila Banus) went awry. She just finished telling Brady (Eric Martsolf) about Stefan’s innocence so she was already heated.
Poor Xander ran into her at exactly the wrong moment. She accused him of working with Nicole, he did not deny it fast enough, and she grabbed the briefcase.

Ted’s Ladies
Ted (Gilles Marini) shared a tender moment with Kate when they gave up on getting at Nicole and went back to her room. She felt woozy, he got her water and chocolate. Sparks flew but Ted kept his hands to himself. He’s a one-woman man now.
Speaking of that woman, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) gave Jen (Melissa Reeves) the low down on her love life. She and Rafe (Galen Gering) are over and she and Ted are heating things up. Jen gave Hope the green light to get her groove back and told her to go for it!
Tears and Panic
Over at the station, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) tried to talk Jack (Matthew Ashford) out of taking the memory serum. Why would he want to? Their life is darn near perfect. Jack reminded her the past will not dictate his future and he loves her no matter what.
His words did very little to ease Eve’s fears and she ran out of the room crying. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
