It was the moment of truth for Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) when SteVano revealed the truth. He ripped off the eyepatch, claimed to be Stefano, and swore her beloved soulmate was dead and gone forever.
Kayla didn’t believe him at first. She thought it was merely a sick game. Even when he was trying to talk in the famous accent (keyword: trying), she called him a liar. It took a lot of yelling and convincing for her to believe his tall tale.
I Love You
Meanwhile, Stefano’s Queen of The Night was busy turning up the heat with her man. Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John (Drake Hogestyn) rekindled their romance, but not before a small bump in the road. SteVano sent Marlena flowers which she promptly threw out and moved on. Crushing Hard

Over at the pub, Marlena’s lookalike was also heating up the romance. Hattie and Roman (Josh Taylor) shared some cute and flirty moments. Hattie once again told she had a crush on him and he said he thought she was pretty special herself. He even made her day by kissing her on the cheek. Oh, what a treat!
Gabi: The Sickening Truth
Over at the police station, Kate (Lauren Koslow) ran into Gabi (Camila Banus) and sat down for a little chat. Gabi admitted to everything and explained her side of the story. She did everything because of love. Lani (Sal Stowers) took away Stefan so she had to take away Eli. Yes, she threatened Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) life to do it but whatever. What’s done is done.
Fighting For Love
Speaking of Lani, she spent her day trying to get through to Eli. She tried talking, she tried reasoning, heck, she even tried kissing him, but it did no good. Eli spent a year in pain over her rejection and the reveal does not take it all away (especially since she trusted JJ and not him with everything). Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
