Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, August 6, 2019 featured a day full of life-altering twists and turns. Kristen dumped Ted’s body at his apartment, Stefan found him, and Eli came across the shocking scene.
An Accidentally Genius Set Up
Ted’s death put Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Tony (Thaao Penghlis) in quite the predicament. They couldn’t simply leave Ted in the room. So, Kristen stuffed that man into a trunk and wheeled him back to his apartment. She dumped him on the carpet, robbed his house, and left him to be found. Which he was, by Stefan!
Poor Stefan (Brandon Barash) innocently went over to try to talk about a deal but was now in the middle of this mess too. Stefan made several key mistakes. First, he didn’t immediately call 9-1-1. Second, he picked up the gun. And, third, he was caught seemingly red-handed by Eli (Lamon Archey). Talk about a disaster!
Welcome Aboard, Eli!
Speaking of Eli, he had a big day already. He accepted the Commissioner job and set to work cleaning up the streets of Salem, starting with getting to the bottom of the kidnapping. He went to see Tony and Nicole (who left with the body mere minutes before) but he got nowhere. Tony sidestepped every question and put quite the damper on the investigation.

So, when Eli and Jack (Matthew Ashford) showed up at Ted’s and saw the entire scene it was definitely shocking. He had no choice but to draw his gun on Stefan and take the scenario at face value.
Gabi Schemed
As if that was not enough cards stacked against Stefan, Gabi (Camila Banus) made sure to add to the pile. She called Brady (Eric Martsolf) over and the two had quite the chat about what comes next. Gabi has all the power and holds all the cards and she expects her minion to all in line. Of course, Brady was not that easy to break. He’s a man who wields much power of his own.
A Glimpse Of Old Jack
Meanwhile, Jen (Melissa Reeves) tried to put Jack out of her mind and move on with her life but that was easier said than done. She was having a heart to heart about it all with Abe when Jack showed up and stole all her attention.
She was quite impressed to hear of the big changes he was making in his life. Eve was out of his room, out of the station, and out of his life. The whole thing gave Jen a glimmer of hope. Maybe they can get the old Jack back even without his memories. Anything is possible, right? Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
