The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, June 29, 2021, features Sami Brady DiMera letting Lucas Horton down, EJ and Chad DiMera having a difference of opinion, and former lovers Jake DiMera and Kate Roberts leveling with one another.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlight
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has returned as the conquering hero, and he demands the presence of his little wifey. Sami (Alison Sweeney) leaped at the summons – completely disillusioning her devoted ex-husband, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo).
Lucas had a lot to say on the subject – none of it particularly kind – but Sami was saved from the majority of the verbal onslaught by daughter Allie’s (Linsday Arnold) arrival. Then, it was off to the side of her beloved EJ. Aren’t they just the happiest couple who ever coupled?
Heirs Not So Apparent
Chad (Billy Flynn) may not be the sharpest knife in the cutlery drawer, but even he can see that it ain’t gonna be easy running DiMera Enterprises with EJ. Still, he’s willing to give it the old college try.
DAYS Recap: Playing Mattress
If there was one thing Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) could have lived his entire life without imagining, it was the sight of Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and Abe Carver (James Reyolds) going at it like teenagers – thanks a lot wifey dearest!
As for Lani Grant’s (Sal Stowers) punishment? No extravagant anniversary party for you! Ha, just kidding. Eli’s actually got a big ole shindig planned…but Lani’s gonna be the last to know about it. Punishment enough!

The Spirit of Sincerity
Jake and Gabi (Camila Banus) were stunned to learn that Kate had been faking her blindness – AND her amnesia; and Jake was left further red-faced after that slap that Kate delivered!
Afterward, Jake dramatically declared that he could no longer reside in the nest of vipers that Gabi called a home. And for her part, Gabi agreed to exit stage left with him…but first they have to make love in the room she once shared with his twin brother. You know, for the memories.
Days of our Lives Recap: Talking In Code
Sure, Paulina is proud to see that Chanel (Precious Way) is taking her new bakery seriously; and we’re pretty sure that Paulina loves her daughter unconditionally.
But what she’s NOT prepared to do, it come clean about her real plans for the Horton Town Square. Not to Chanel – who’ll no doubt be left disappointed – or Abe, or anyone who might try and stop her. But will she be able to hide the truth from goddaughter Lani – she who just so happened to be passing by while Paulina was scheming away over the telephone?
