The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, July 16, 2021, features Sami Brady DiMera striking while the iron’s hot, and Nicole Walker Brady’s happy day descending into chaos.

Why oh why must Sami (Alison Sweeney) be so put upon? All she wants is to get Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) to out her trampy sister-in-law for the tramp that she is – is that too much to ask? Sami doesn’t think so. And yet, she leaves for five minutes to go and collect Xander’s cool one million dollar bribe, and in that time he’s arrested for assaulting a police officer.
So, it’s off to the courthouse, where Sami is forced to call upon the services of a random, loitering defense attorney. In no time flat, Xander is bailed out, the money is exchanged, and Sami hurries off to get dolled up for what she’s certain will be a hell of a party.
DAY Recap: Just the Facts, Sir
Nicole’s inquiring mind wanted to know – will Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) be abandoning her yet again to go off and do good deeds in another country? The answer? Yes AND no. He’s got to return to Africa in order to see out the end of his contract, but after that, he’s making a permanent return to Salem. Now that that’s out of the way, let’s go party!

DOOL Recap: Highschool All Over Again
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) seriously overstepped when he asked Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), his uncle’s squeeze, to accompany him to Nicole and Eric’s anniversary party, but only Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) seemed aware of the fact. For her part, Chloe happily accepted the offer – “completely unaware” that her action would cause familial friction.
Days of our Lives Recap: Party Foul
The extended Brady/Black family (and a sprinkling of friends) turned out in droves to celebrate Nicole and Eric’s milestone – including Sami and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), who spent their time harshly judging the proceedings while huddled close together.
Toasts were offered up to the happy couple, and Eric finally took center stage in order to sing his wife’s praises. After he wrapped, gate crasher Xander had a question to put to him: “I wonder if you’d feel the same way if you knew, while sweating away down in Africa, she was screwing around behind your back?”
