The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, December 28 has Eve making a big splash after the New Year countdown ends!
Party Time
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) got Doug’s Place ready for the benefit and he admitted to missing Eve (Kassie DePavia). Brady also said he was sick of going from bad relationship to bad.
Eric (Greg Vaughan) consulted Justin (Wally Kurth) about suing for custody of Holly and Justin warned that his past could be brought up and used against him. Justin then told him to go to the party to honor Nicole.
Adrienne (Judi Evans) yelled at Steve (Stephen Nichols) on the phone to get home and told Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) about missing her brothers. Justin arrived and took them both to the benefit.
Everyone gathered to ring in the New Year at Doug’s Place. Sarah apologized to Chloe and later caught up with Eric, who ended up attending. Eric saw Chloe and Brady and tried to make peace but Brady was combative.
Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) told JJ (Casey Moss) what Gabi did. Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) arrived with Dr. Henry Shah (Andre Khabbazi).

JJ asked to talk with Jennifer and she told him she’d tried to reach him and he explained about Haley (Thia Megia), who unfortunately overheard.
He ran after her and smoothed things out and later told her about his father’s death. Adrienne and Jennifer also talked about Jack.
Jennifer introduced Eric to the crowd and he spoke about second chances, touching Haley. He also spoke about Nicole and her passing.
The countdown began to midnight and everyone celebrated. Suddenly a “mystery” woman, who we saw prepare for the event entered — and it was Eve — who locked eyes with Brady, ready to make trouble.
