The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, July 8 features a bad day for Xander. His secrets came out, his plans exposed, and his lies brought to light. Everywhere he turned there was more trouble coming his way.
You Did This!
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) called Xander (Paul Telfer) out on multiple crimes. She accused him of kidnapping Ted, faking the autopsy report, and torturing Nicole. All were true except she had the reasoning all wrong.
She thought he was using Holly to force Nicole’s hand. She still had no idea Kristen is in the picture. So close!
We’ll Save You!
In the dungeon, Ted and Kate DID figure out Kristen is back. Nicole finding them in the dungeon and not rescuing them had them convinced the DiMera baddie was pulling her strings and calling the shots. They begged her to let them go and even promised to protect her. Again, SO CLOSE!
With all hope lost, Ted and Kate decided to prepare for the worst. They fashioned themselves some weapons and got ready to attack, no matter who walks through the door next.

By the time Xander got back to the tunnel, Kristen was in a fury. As soon as he saw her he knew the jig was up and they were all in big trouble.
A Lot At Once
Meanwhile, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) almost kissed Eric (thankfully Marlena interrupted), found out about Rex giving away her necklace, and encouraged her husband to call the police about his mom. It was a lot to take in for one day.
A Hot Plot
Gabi (Camila Banus) continued her seductive games with Stefan (Brandon Barash) and even accidentally outed the affair to ‘Nicole’. No sense hiding it, right? This was all part of her grand plan to get under this skin and it was working.
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) told Brady (Eric Martsolf) about finding Stefan in bed with Gabi and he told her about Gabi’s plan. Chloe was shocked but not really surprised. It’s about time someone took him down! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
