The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, April 22 features secret schemers, dangerous enemies, and a heroic feat unlike any other!

Oh, La, La Stabi!
I hate you! I want you! Come get me! The game of should they or shouldn’t they heated up between Gabi (Camila Banus) and Stefan (Brandon Barash). They kissed, they insulted, they got caught by Lani, and eventually, they went to bed. (Well, the sofa, but same idea.)

Schemes and Suspicions
Ted (Gilles Marini) continued being shady as ever with secret phone calls and cryptic that gave away far too much information. He’s the king of cover stories.

He even pulls the wool over Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) eyes. She’s not one to be fooled but her ex-lover is so convincing she believes him. If Kate can fall for his antics there is no stopping him.

Rafe (Galen Gearing), Eli (Lamon Archey), and Lani (Sal Stowers) do see through him. Rafe spent his morning at the hospital listening to Eli’s suspicions and the evening confirming them with Lani.

Kate got the invite to return to Titan despite Maggie’s pleas. Victor got an earful from his wife but it didn’t make a lick of difference. The company is better with Kate as an ally instead of an enemy.

The cartel drama took several terrifying turns today. Ciara (Victoria Konefal) managed to talk Hector into negotiating her release but his nerves got the best of him. She had to step up and defend herself more than once.

Then, while the SWAT team was gearing up, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) jumped the gun — literally. His hostile moves nearly cost him his life and it took Ciara to save him. They had to work as a team to truly turn the tables on the Cartel goon once and for all.
