Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Eli (Lamon Archey) updated Abe (James Reynolds) about the current murder investigations. They agreed Laura’s family deserves answers but regretted they had to bring Charlie’s killer to justice. Talk then turned to Lani’s (Sal Stowers) friendship with Kristen and her being at the jail seeing the baddie.
Fake It Till You Make It
Over at the prison, Susan (Stacy Haiduk) had trouble keeping up appearances. Her emotions continually got the best of her and she slipped ever so slightly back into her accent and made mistake after mistake with her story.
Luckily, baby brain got the best of Lani and her detective skills were off. She assumed jail was getting the best of her bestie. She went home and quickly got distracted by a knock at the door. It was her favorite aunt! Welcome to Salem, Aunt Paulina (Jackée Henry)!

Meanwhile, Kristen did her best to stay in character while keeping Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) away from Brady (Eric Martsolf). Her plans went awry when Brady decided to eat Chloe’s muffins instead of “Susan’s” pancakes. Kristen had to fake a breakdown about John to get Brady’s full attention.
Jack To The Rescue
Jack (Matthew Ashford) got a call from Jennifer (Cady McClain) explaining she could be away for quite some time. Wrapping up Laura’s life is a lot more complicated than she thought.
Jack no sooner hung up than Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was at the door. She all but begged her dad for his love and support. He took pity on his daughter and assured her she would not be alone again. Gwen was relieved. Jack saved her the day of Laura’s death and again now by offering his support.
A Troublesome Team
At the same time, Abigail (Marci Miller) was plotting her revenge. She ran into Gabi (Camila Banus) and appealed to her scheming side. Gabi agreed, but she had some terms and conditions. Abby would have to break up Jake (Bradon Barash) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) first. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
