The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, April 29, 2020, features Chad accusing Gabi of horrible things, Jake shaking things up, Orpheus stirring up trouble, and Steve going back to his old ways.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Things went off the rails in Abigail’s (Kate Mansi) room when Chad (Billy Flynn) announced she was drugged. Abby was thankful she wasn’t losing it but the race was on to find out who did this to her. As far as they were concerned, there was only one suspect – Gabi.
Almost the Truth From Gabi
As for Gabi, she was over at the police station trying to make a confession to Rafe (Galen Gering). She did not get her story out and before they knew it, Chad was there hollering up a storm. He accused Gabi of drugging Abby but she denied it, of course.
As if that wasn’t enough drama, Gabi got the shock of her life when she came across Jake (Brandon Barash). This time it was face to face and Gabi knew she was not imagining things.

Welcome Back, Patch
It was back to the patch for Steve (Stephen Nichols). Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) took off the bandage, cleaned Steve up, and offered him his old patch. It was like a pair of old shoes and Steve was happy to be back to himself.
Trust Me
Meanwhile, Orpheus and his children had quite a bit of drama. Zoey (Kelly Thiebaud) pushed her brother to confess his crimes (which he did, but off-screen). It was all their dad’s fault, he claimed. He would never do what he did if it wasn’t for Milo.
Speaking of Milo, he was in the square begging John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) to cut him a deal. He promises to help Brady if they do what he wants. But, what does he want? He didn’t say and made it clear he would only discuss it if and when John agreed to hear him out completely.
Once alone, curiosity got the best of John and he told Marlena he wanted to play along. What harm could come? Marlena tried to talk him out of it. Orpheus cannot be trusted. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
