The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, March 6, 2020, features a dramatic day in Salem. Chad went off the rails, Gabi met her match (twice), and SteVano flexed his power.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Gabi (Camila Banus) was fresh from surgery and ready for visitors. Well, maybe not ready but Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) went in anyway. Julie had a few choice words for the bad girl and was determined to have her say.
Gabi tried to turn the tables and pretend she really did care but Julie was not having it. She vowed to make sure Gabi died alone.
Chad Did The Robot
Things were equally as dramatic at the DiMera mansion. Chad (Billy Flynn) read his father’s letter and became brainwashed immediately by the words ‘la mia famiglia.’ SteVano was now in his head and controlling his every move.
Kate (Lauren Koslow) showed up and realized something wasn’t quite right but couldn’t put her finger on the problem. She and Chad talked, she noticed the ring, but she didn’t put any of the other pieces together.

SteVano Got His Way
Speaking of SteVano, he was busy kidnapping Marlena and attempting to kill her allies. The harder Justin (Wally Kurth) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) fought, the more dangerous things became. SteVano not only overtook Justin but he managed to snag Marlena and lock her friends in a room leaking gas.
Then, SteVano prepared his Queen of the Night for the next step in their journey. He and Rolf (Willam Utay) had a plan to implant a chip in Marlena (Deidre Hall) to control her. She swore she would fight but SteVano reminded her he had ways to get her to cooperate.
Goodbye, JJ
Meanwhile, the Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) reunion came to a halt when a slew of bad news hits. JJ (Casey Moss) called and had some heartbreakers for the couple. First, he’s not coming home, at least not for a very long time. (Does this mean they get the apartment?) Second, Gabi got away with everything.
No sooner did Lani hang up the phone than Julie came banging down the door. She repeated the Gabi news and told them all about her visit with the baddie.
Farewell, Gabi?
Gabi may not be a problem for much longer. Back at the hospital, Chad (Billy Flynn) went to complete his first murderous mission. He had the pillow in hand and was ready to smother Gabi to death. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
