The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, July 10, 2020, features Gabi making a deal with Jake, Gwen finding a new friend, Viv demanding a favor, and Ben seeing another red flag. It was quite a busy day for your favorite Salemites.

Gabi (Camila Banus) was on cloud nine showing Chad (Billy Flynn) the DNA results. She wasn’t so pleased when she went to the garage and caught Jake (Brandon Barash) with Gwen (Emily O’Brien).
As it turns out, Gwen wasn’t too happy either. The baddie newcomer was even madder when she was the one Jake kicked out of the room. He needed time with “his” wife. Jake and Gabi agreed to keep their hands off other people until they figured out his life.
New Friends
As for Chad, he decided to stick around. The family decided to send Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) while the men stayed back with the kids and drama. It was a good move, as was Chad heading out for a drink. He ran into Gwen who was quite upset about Gabi too.

Vivian Blackmailed Kate
Over at the station, Vivian (Louise Sorel) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) had it out over their past and you know, continually shooting each other. Vivian offered to forget it all but she needed a favor first. She needed Kate to go to Rolf (William Utay) and get the serum.
Their reunion was busted up by Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey). Who needs a honeymoon when you can get right back to work instead? It’s okay, Kate had a doctor’s appointment to get to anyway (wink, wink).
Did Claire Do The Unthinkable?
Meanwhile, Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) interrupted Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) wedding planning session. She fixed the dress disaster and then offered to help Ben find a real engagement ring. Ben refused but Claire was insistent Besides, she knows way more about diamonds than the two of them put together.
As it turns out, Claire got Ben a great deal and he was pleased. Well, until he went to propose again. He got down on one knee, opened the box, and Ciara’s face dropped. The ring box was empty! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
