The Days of Our Lives recap for January 11-15, 2021, features some troubling developments, and the possibility that an innocent man will soon be vindicated.

Days of Our Lives Recap Highlights

Try as he might, Charlie (Mike Manning) couldn’t convince anyone but Claire (Isabel Durant) that he was innocent of the charges being leveled against him. Under intense pressure from Rafe (Galen Gering), Charlie slipped and wound up having to admit that Ava (Tamara Braun) was indeed his mother. But he continued to maintain that he wasn’t Allie’s rapist.

Allie had her doubts. As did Steve (Stephen Nichols), who took great delight in telling Tripp (Lucas Adams) all about his half-brother. Off that stunning revelation, Tripp snuck away to Charlie’s abode, swiped his toothbrush, and begged Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) to test Charlie’s DNA against baby Henry’s. And she agreed. Even as the risk of having to eat a whole crow pie.

Going For Broke

Despite initially deciding to toy with and torture Chad (Billy Flynn), Gwen (Emily O’Brien) chose to instead go all out and confess their one night stand to Abigail (Marci Miller). And what did Gwen’s honesty earn her? Why a slap across the face of course. And a final order for her to live the DiMera mansion.

Once the nanny from hell had taken her leave, Chad attempted to explain and justify his actions, but Abigail wasn’t about to absolve him of his sins.

Dead End?

While Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) desperately tried to get Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) out of the hole he dug for himself, Xander (Paul Telfer) doubled down on brining his rival to his knees.

Upon learning that his cousin had torpedoed his money laundering scam, Philip insisted that his death warrant had been signed…but that was music to Xander’s ears. Even though he didn’t put much stock in the claim.

Baby Blues

Though her first attempt to help proved disastrous, Bonnie (Judi Evans) eventually rallied, and she managed to give the cops a description of the woman she saw toting around Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani’s (Sal Stowers) babies.

The artist’s rendering, and Valerie’s (Vanessa Williams) excellent memory for faces, resulted in the kidnapper being identified as Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt). But while the cops pursued the lead, Raynor handed over the precious tots to Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera), Vivian’s trusted manservant! Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC.
