Scandal After Scandal!
Fireworks went off at the debate when Abe’s (James Reynold) scandalous kiss was put on display. Valerie (Vanessa Williams) ran off in anger with Abe close at her heels. Sheila stayed behind to clean up the mess and claim she was the culprit. She kissed Abe, not the other way around.
Unfortunately, the fall out ran deep. Abe and Valerie broke up and Sheila decided it was best to quit. Oh yes, it was a bad day to be Abe.
The tables turned, though, when JJ got involved. He stood up to his dad and put Jack’s deep, dark secret on display. He dropped hints about his dad’s violent sexual past and got the press talking.
A Rocky Road
Meanwhile, Eli (Lamon Archey) got a shock when Lani (Sal Stowers) put her entire life (including work) on hold to be with David. He tried to talk her out of it but his pleas fell on deaf ears.

Even Rafe (Galen Gearing) could not talk her out of taking a bunch of vacations days. David means way too much to her and she vowed to be there for the baby no matter what.
Claire’s Going Crazy!
Back at the condo, Tripp (Lucas Adams) turned up the charm to cool Claire’s hot temper. He can understand why the move would get to her and agreed it was not fair. Ultimately, it was agreed Claire has enough places to go and will be the most comfortable outside the loft.
What Tripp did not realize was the toll this really was taking on Claire. She already ripped up their wedding photo and as soon as she got to the Kiriakis mansion she burned Haley’s photo in the fireplace.
