Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
It was an odd day for Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal). They needed a best man and a maid of honor but neither exactly have friends. Ciara suggested Ben ask Will but he thinks maybe Jake is a better option. (You know, since he kinda killed him for a while.) Ciara’s bestie tried to kill her leaving her wide open for a new BFF.
All The Wrong Help
They were interrupted when Jake (Brandon Barash) banged down the door and told them about Gabi (Camila Banus). The kidnappers had her and refused to give her back until they got the goods. They agreed to help, and keep the cops out of it. First things first, they’d have to find Gwen.
What’s The Real Plan?
Lo and behold, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was as crazy as Jake said and was locked up in Bayview with Claire. She caught Claire with the wedding invite and was quite amused by the whole thing. How did Claire get the card (she swiped it from Marlena), and is she planning on crashing the wedding? Claire said no but Gwen was not convinced.

Come Home Or Keep Away?
Speaking of Claire, Marlena (Deidre Hall) was talking up a storm about her granddaughter. She sat down with John (Drake Hogestyn) to go over the pros and cons of bringing her home. John was all for it.
Come Back To Me, Kayla
Steve was drunk as a skunk and it showed. He was falling all over Kayla (literally) and she had to help him get home. Steve couldn’t bottle up his feelings without a drink in hand and told her everything! He professed his love and begged her to come back to him. It’s too bad that the confession part was all just a drunken dream. He cried to Hope (Kristin Alfonso) until he fell back to sleep.
Over at the DiMera mansion, Jen (Melissa Reeves) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) argued about Steve and Kayla’s situation. Jen was on Team Soulmates and even threatened to tell Kayla herself but Jack demanded she leave well enough alone. Kayla arrived for a visit and they agreed Steve was a mess but kept it at that.
