The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, January 17, 2020, features gut-wrenching news for Sarah and Eric, Nicole playing a dangerous game, and an unbelievable break for Will.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) were back with baby Mickey in tow. The tiny tot completed her first round of chemo and her parents were cautiously optimistic about her chances and relieved to be home. Sadly, their joy did not last long. They had an appointment to check in with Kayla and it was where everything fell apart.

Mickey was not responding to the chemo at all. The baby would need a bone marrow transplant. They began a search for a match starting with Eric and Sarah. The news was devastating and they both broke down.

Nicole Played With Fire

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was shocked when Eric walked into the apartment and tried to keep the peace. But, the damage was clearly done. She took off to the office where she put that messy relationship behind her and started getting dirty with Brady instead. They made out right on the desk but not for real. They were trying to trick Kristen (Stacy Haiduk).

The baddie didn’t like that one bit. She kept her cool but warned Nicole not to push her buttons. Kristen was a woman on the edge and anything could set her off.

Letting Go

Over at the prison, Will (Chandler Massey) struggled when he had a nightmare about Adrienne (Judi Evans). She came back from the dead to haunt him and demanded to know why he killed her. He was almost relieved to wake up. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of his drama.

Sonny (Freddie Smith) came by to visit and asked him if he really wanted a divorce. Will didn’t really want to let go but felt they had no choice. He was going to be behind bars for a long time and there was no way Sonny would ever get over what he did. Or, what they thought he did.

Ciara Played Hero

Back at the hospital, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) struggled with the pressure of Victor (John Aniston) secret. In the end, she decided to do the right thing. She went to the jailhouse and told Will he was an innocent man. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
