The Days of our Lives recap for June 22-26, 2020 features a whole bunch of characters realizing that life isn’t for the faint of heart.

To quote Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), “Why does everything have to be so complicated?” All the young woman wants to do is figure out what is going to be best for her and her unborn baby. And when she finally thinks that she’s found the solution – adoption – almost everybody has an opinion to offer.
All Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) want is for Gabi (Camila Banus) to be found guilty of poisoning Abigail (Kate Mansi) and for their wedding to go off without a hitch.
All Gabi wants is to be found not guilty of the charges and prove that Jake and Stefan (both played by Brandon Barash) are one and the same. She may have gotten her first wish – since she was out and about after a verdict was supposedly rendered – but any hope for a reconciliation with her maybe husband looks pretty bleak…considering that he has reignited his super complicated love affair with Gwen (Emily O’Brien).
All Brady (Eric Martsolf) wants if for the path to be cleared for Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) safe – and legal – return but Eli’s knowledge of the woman’s actual guilt in stabbing Victor complicates things…as does the fact the only other viable suspect in the crime is Brady himself.

And all Steve (Stephen Nichols) wants is to reunite with his Sweetness. But Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is committed to facing her future with Justin (Wally Kurth). Should a complication arise, might Steve use it to his advantage?
DAYS Musings
Lani: “So wait, you married Steve on July 25th? I thought you guys got married on Valentine’s Day.” Kayla: “Well that was our third wedding. The second wedding was in August because technically, we weren’t really married in July the first time.”
And that’s because Steve’s first, heretofore unknown first wife, Marina Toscano (ex-Hunter Tylo) turned out to be alive and well and ready to involve her husband in a treasure hunt.
Steve: “So…you told someone that I’m still in love with Kayla? Who? Who’d you tell, Jackson?!” Ummm…did Steve suddenly confuse his brother with his nephew, Sonny (whose birth name is actually Jackson)?
In point of fact, it would have made more sense for the exasperated Steve to call Jack “Billy” since Jack’s birth name is actually William Earl. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
